Owner and driver of an SUV Nissan Jeep, accompanied by three others, amongst them Menge George Abang, Kumba-based correspondent of The Herald Tribune have miraculously survived a ghastly car accident as they headed for Oku, Bui Division of the North West Region to find out how FCFA Five million disappeared from his house. Driving with a psychological unstable mind, the man left Kumba on Saturday, November 8 to Bamenda via Manyu Division. While cruising through Upper Banyang Subdivision between Nfaitok and Ashum in the company of three other occupants, the car suddenly drove off the road into the bush and over turned several times before stopping with all four tires now facing up. According to one of the survivors, our Kumba-based correspondent, Menge George Abang, the driver wasn’t on high speed that one could have imagined it was the speed that caused the vehicle to tumble.
The four occupants of the car, a lady and three men managed their way out of the car through the front window with two of the occupants sustaining injuries that were less severe.

Relaying the sad incident to those who stopped by to know the exact cause of the mishap, George who was very less hurt explained that, the owner and driver of the car apparently was suffering from a state of psychological instability due to the fact that, he had earlier on explained to him through a cordial conversation as they drove on that, thieves have robbed him of the sum of FCFA five million from his home. He articulated that, the owner and driver of the car was thus leading to the North West Region through Manyu Division to do findings and to know exactly who has carted away with his hard-earned money.
It should be noted that, the tragic situation didn’t deter the driver and owner of the car from going for his monetary findings. The scene of this car incident however caught the attention of other users of this stretch of road and sympathisers who could not remain indifferent but had to manifest love and sympathy by serving first aids to the accident victims, some of whom had wounds. The solidarity of the drivers of this road axis was even more exemplified as they put hands together to pull away the wreckage of the accident car to the neighbouring settlement of Nfaitok for fear of the unknown. The accident victims continued their journey through different vehicles.
