Five Fiango Quarter Heads Cheat Death In Car Accident

Thursday, December 11, 2025 would have been a very gloomy day to the families of five quarterheads of Fiango, Kumba in what could have been another massacre. This was avoided by ancestors.

These auxiliaries of administration in the persons of Orock of Kosala V, Jerome of Kosala IV and peers were driving up the steep hill to the Kumba II Subdivisional council to attend a council budgetary session but the car couldn’t make it to the summit as the driver, Jerome merely noticed that the vehicle was instead pulling backwards.

One of the quarterheads who sustained a grave injury was rushed to the Kumba Regional Hospital Annex.

The most interesting and embarrassing thing at this scene was the fact that, two of the quarterheads who were in the car and less injured whose names this reporter retained continued to the council chambers where there was much to eat and drink as they abandoned the owner of the car, Nkume Jerome who had to hire boys to remove the wreckage of the car from the ravine. Responding to the press, an on-looker and neighbour to the Kumba Subdivisional council who accepted to talk on the condition of anonymity asserted that, many vehicles have faced similar challenges with this steep hill but no deaths. She urges the council administration to urgently raise an embarkment to avoid future casualties of uncontrollable vehicles that could bash into her sitting room.
