The population of Nguti Subdivision, Kupe Muanenguba Division of the South West Region has hailed Okie Johnson Ndoh, the Director General of the Hydrocarbon Prices Stabilisation Fund known with its French acronym as CSPH, for developmental strides and peace building efforts. The Nguti Subdivision says if there is one thing that lingers so well in the minds of the people, it is the high tension electricity that is used by most accessible communities in the Subdivision.
Meanwhile, the population of Manyemen a community in Nguti Subdivision through their Regent Chief said since the existence of Manyemen, they have never hoped to see high tension electricity. That they now live like those in the city. Mr Besong Gilbert Tanyi Manyemen Regent Chief thanked Okie Johnson Ndoh for this generous donation to the community. Besides electricity, the chairman of Nguti traditional council told the press that most communities in Nguti Sub Division now have portable water supply offered to the population by Okie Johnson Ndoh. To the traditional council chairman of Nguti, Okie Johnson Ndoh is a direct representative of Nzo Ekangaki.
“The Director General of CSPH has carried out a lot of developmental projects in Nguti Subdsivision that has quickly consoled the people in his Subdivision from the pain of the closed to 10-year armed conflict which Nguti was highly affected.” He cited as some of the visible achievements of Okie Johnson with the Subdivision to include the rehabilitation of schools, scholarship assistance scheme, the fight for the preservation of the Nguti forest among others.
Beyond Nguti Subdivision, Okie Johnson has championed President Biya’s vision of making cooking gas affordable and preserving deforestation through the construction of Liquified Gas Plants across some Regions in Cameroon. Construction works are going on in Kumba and Ebolowa. Meanwhile the Bamenda station of the Liquified Gas Plant has already been inaugurated.
Mr Okie is also noted for supporting the needy and promotion of peace and living together through the organization of several football tournaments.
