Preparations are taking shape in Tiko for the Sports and Cultural Jamboree for 2025, organised by the Municipal Council under the stewardship of Chief Dr Ikome Peter Mesoso III.
The municipality is expected to come alive with unity, development, cohesion and cultural exhibition/preservation. The festival, in its 5th edition this 2025, will run from December 16-18.
It will take place at the Tiko Council esplanade alongside other community fields across the municipality. It will feature sports competitions, traditional dances, ballets, gastronomy, cultural displays, music, exhibitions, and other facets of culture.
Organisers promise numerous prizes and an unforgettable entertainment moment. Previous editions have recorded enormous success, bringing thousands together and attracting national and international attention. In 2024, the festival was celebrated under the theme; “My Culture, My Identity”. It ran from December 5 – 7 with memorable echoes, performances and carnival displays. All eyes are wide for the innovations and surprises of this year’s edition.
