The incumbent telecommunications operator has once again answered present as the official sponsor of the games
Over 2000 secondary school students from the ten regions of the country were gathered in Bafoussam and Bangangte for this year’s edition of the FENASSCO A League Games.
The competition was officially launched at the Lycee Classique de Bafoussam last Monday, April 20, 2025 by the Minister of Secondary Education, Professor Nalova Lyonga in the presence of other government ministers and local administrative authorities.
As tradition demands, the CAMTEL marked a strong presence at the opening ceremony as official sponsor of the competition.

Support to organising committee
This year’s edition of the FENASSCO League A Games drew huge plaudits for the near perfect organisation so far. From the unveiling of the FENASSCO monument through the opening ceremony to the games sites, the organisation was been top notch. Standing by the organising committee to achieve this huge success was Camtel. The operator had put in the necessary financial and material package to ensure the competition goes on smoothly. The various commissions were handed material support by Camtel to help facilitate their job. Camtel was also instrumental in the blue toilet project that has seen the Ministry of Secondary Education construct a dozen toilets on the games sites as one of the legacies of the competition.
The incumbent telecommunications operator was by the athletes and competitors throughout the week to support their dreams, passion and talents.
In that respect, Camtel, had prepared a wide range of gifts for the best athletes in the various disciplines.
To crown it all, the operator handed out the Chantal Biya Special prize for excellence to the three best athletes of the games during the closing ceremony over the weekend.
As Bafoussam and Bangangte continued to vibrate to the rhythm of the games, so too Camtel was deploying itself to ensure a perfect participation and support to the competition.
The engagement drew praises from the Minister of Secondary Education who singled out Camtel and its General Manager Judith Yah Sunday epse Achidi for praises.
The Secondary Education boss expressed gratitude for Camtel’s loyalty in standing by this competition once again, supporting as official sponsor not only with cash but other gadgets that have helped in proper organisation.
It was therefore an eventful week as the students competed for glory while Camtel continued to give them a push.
